My sister and I are identical twins born at a time when twins, especially the second twin were viewed as a bad omen. The practice still continues in some countries even today where rituals are done to ward off the seemingly evil spirits behind multiple births. I was also born left-handed, but was forced to use the right hand because being left-handed was and is still viewed as an abnormality. Many children are also being forced to write with the right hand. It is for this reason that I wrote this book, “Seven reasons why God loves diversity.”

God intentionally created a world rich in variety with different cultures, languages, and gifts. Diversity reflects the richness of cultures, ideas, and experiences that reflect an impressive design beyond human comprehension. In many ways, embracing diversity allows people to see the depth of wisdom, love, and creativity in the world. The Bible encourages embracing differences, recognizing that all people are part of God’s grand design.
